Vivekananda College of Nursing (VCN) is a Private Nursing College which is located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It has been established in the year 2005. It is affiliated to King George’s Medical University. It is recognized by Indian Nursing Council New Delhi and approved by Uttar Pradesh Nurse and Midwives Council, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh.
It imparts the professional education in the field of Medical Science. The offered courses are B.Sc in Nursing, M.Sc in Nursing, GNM.

For GNM, there are 20 seats available. Students must have completed 10+2 in science stream with minimum 40% marks (35% marks in case of SC/ST category student). They must have good knowledge of Hindi and English. Only female students who are physically and mentally fit will undergo training are eligible to apply for this course. Students will have to appear in Written test followed by Interview Round. Admission will be done on the basis of past academic performance and performance in Written Test and Interview.
To get admission to B.Sc Nursing, students must have completed 10+2 in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects from recognized board. Students have to appear in Entrance Test conducted by King George Medical University. Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in entrance test.
For M.Sc Nursing, must have done B.Sc Nursing/Post Basic Nursing/ B.Sc Hons Nursing from recognized University. Students should be registered nurse and registered midwife with any state Nursing Registration Council. They must have one year of working experience after completed bachelor’s degree in nursing. Students will have to appear for Entrance Test conducted by Kind George’s Medical University.

The fee structure of college is less as compare to other colleges in the city. Students have to submit the fee in 2 installments annually. Hostel and Mess charges will be taken separately by the college.
