B. Tech. Mechanical and Automation Engineering Admission 2021 & Top Colleges
- B.Tech in Mechanical and Automation Engineering is the 4 years long undergraduate full-time course comprising of 8 semesters. Each academic year is divided into 2 semesters. The duration of each semester is 6 months.
- At the end of each semester, external examination will be held. It is necessary for the students to separately qualify each semester examination for the successful award of engineering degree in this branch.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech in Mechanical and Automation Engineering:
To be eligible for this course, the candidates are required to hold at least intermediate level qualification from a well-recognized educational board. The higher secondary certificate examination must be passed in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The minimum eligible marks required in qualifying examination will be as prescribed by the respective institution.
Admission Procedure for B.Tech in Mechanical and Automation Engineering:
• Aspirants who intend to take admission into this course are required to appear and qualify the entrance test.
• Admission will be offered on the basis of national level, state level and University level entrance exam.
• Most of institutions prefer JEE Main scores for providing admission into this course.

• Based on the rank scored in entrance test, seat will allotted to the students thorugh counselling process.
• The vacant seats in few colleges will be filled on the basis of qualifying examination.
