B.E. - Marine Engineering is known as Bachelor of Engineering in Marine Engineering, which is an undergraduate degree program. Marine engineering is the branch of study that deals with the design, development, production and maintenance of the equipment that use at sea and on board sea vessels like boats, ships etc. It includes the operation of ship’s main engine, auxiliaries and other propulsion and adjunct machinery This course covers the study of General Psychology with Alcohol and Drug Prevention, Analytic Geometry with Solid Geometry, Ship Construction and Ship Stability, Marine Power Plant Diesel, Marine Pollution and Prevention etc. 
Through this course, students will be trained for the operation, maintenance and repair of all major mechanical and engineered equipment on board a ship. In addition students who have completed their 10+2 wits science stream (PCM) can apply for this degree program.
