M. Tech - Hydraulics and water Resource Engineering

Master of Technology in Hydraulics and water Resource Engineering is a postgraduate degree program. This course deals with the methods and techniques that apply in the study of   water needs for agriculture, industry, households, recreation, navigation, and hydroelectric power generation and the problems related to storm water drainage and flood damage mitigation. It includes the study on the subjects of Advanced Hydrology, Water Resources System Analysis, Flood and Drought Estimation and Management, Advanced Hydrology Analysis and Design, and Environmental Aspects of Water Resources etc. Further, they will also get the knowledge of hydraulics along with mechanicals. Through this course, students will learn how to design and function of bridges, dams, levees and canals etc. 
In addition, students who hold B. E or B. Tech degree can apply for this Master degree program. Once they will obtain this degree, they can find many numerous job profiles such as Management Trainee, Assistant Professor, Engineering Header, Associate Project Controller etc.
