M.E. - Mechanical Design

M.E. - Mechanical Design is known as Master of Engineering in Mechanical Design, which is a postgraduate degree program. This course mainly focuses on the mechanical aspects and modern practices of design and their application. It is an advanced course on modeling, design, integration and best practices for use of machine elements such as bearings, springs, gears, cams and mechanisms. Under this course, students will study the subjects of Material Science and Mechanical Behavior of Materials, Material Science and Mechanical Behavior of Materials, Advanced Mechanical Vibrations, Optimization Techniques, Mechanical Measurements and Controls etc. Further, students will be trained in the design, development and simulation and as well they will explore new areas in areas of Engineering Design and allied sciences. 
Students who hold B.E or B. Tech. degree can apply for this Master degree program. Once they will obtain this degree, they can find many career opportunities in Manufacturing Industries, Aviation Companies, Shipping Industries, Aerospace Industry, and Automobile Industry etc.
