Aligarh Muslim University, popularly known as AMU, is one of the most prestigious University of India situated at Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. It offers total 12 courses including Agriculture Science, Social Science, Law, Life Science, Engineering and Technology, Medicine, Management Studies and Research and MBBS/BDS programs.

Except MBBS/BDS, AMU separately invites application form for each course and candidates have to qualify entrance exam to get admission in courses. Admission in MBBS/BDS is done on the basis of NEET scores.

AMU Eligibility

AMU 2021 eligibility criteria for different courses is as follows:

B.A.L.L.B.

• Candidates should pass their 10+2/equivalent from a recognized board with 50% marks.
• Candidates should attain a minimum age of 22 years as on 1s July 2021.

B.Tech/B.Arch

• Candidates should pass their 10+2 from a recognized board with 50% marks.
• Candidates should have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as a core subject.
• Candidates, who have Diploma in Engineering should have 50% marks in aggregate.

M.B.A.

• Candidates should have Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks from a recognized university.

B.Sc. (Hons)

• Candidates should qualify their 10+2 with 55% marks from a recognized board.
• English, Biology/ Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics should be the core subjects.

B.Ed.

• Candidates should have Bachelor’s Degree in B.A/B.Sc./B.Com with 50% marks.
• Or Master’s Degree in Science/Social Science/Humanities with 55% marks.

Diploma in Engineering

• Candidates should pass 10th from a recognized board with 45% marks and also English, Maths and Science should be the core subjects.
• Or 10+2 with 45% marks and Physics, Chemistry and Maths as core subjects.
•  Age of the candidates should not be less than 21 years as of 31st December 2021.

AMU Exam Dates 2021

AMU Application Form 2021

• Application process of AMU 2021 will only be done through online mode.
• Candidates, who are willing to apply for AMU 2021 exam, should visit to the official website of AMU.
• Firstly, candidates have to visit the official website of AMU, i.e. www.amu.ac.in
• Now, click on the admission tab and select your program for which you are interested.
• Enter your personal details such as name, address, contact number etc. and register.
• Login with the credentials after confirmation of email.
• Fill up the application form with all the required information.
• Upload the scanned copy of latest color photograph and signature.
• Click on ‘Submit’ button and save the application form.
• Now, pay the application fee through online mode via credit/debit card and net banking.
• Take out the print out of application form and send it to the official address.

AMU 2021 Exam Pattern

• AMU 2021 question paper comprises of objective type questions.
• Medium of question paper will be English.
• Time duration is either 2 hours or 3 hours according to various courses.
• Each question paper carries different sections as per the course.
• Mode of examination is offline.
• There will be negative marking for some question papers like B.Tech and B.Arch, otherwise, there will be no negative marking.
