JEE Main 2021 Eligibility
Here are the eligibility criteria for appearing in JEE Main 2021 entrance exam:
Candidates should be born on and after October, 1st, 1993 to sit in this exam.
5 years of upper age relaxation would be given to the SC/ST and PWD candidates.
Candidates should be pass/qualifying 12th examination to get eligible for JEE Main 2021.
Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects in 12th.
There are no minimum marks criteria in the 12th examination for the candidates appearing in JEE Main 2021. They just have to secure minimum marks.
Only those students, who have passed their 12th in 2021 and 2021 are eligible to apply for JEE Main 2021. Besides this, candidates, who will appear their 12th exam in 2021 are also eligible to fill the application form.
Candidates will get only 3 attempts to clear JEE Main.
To get eligible for taking admissions into IIT’s, NIT’s and CFTI’s, candidates have to secure 75% marks in a 12th examination or should be in the top 20 percentile.
How to Apply JEE Main Exam 2021
Follow the below mentioned steps to complete the application procedure of JEE Main 2021:
Firstly, candidates have to fill the online application form and register themselves. A password will generate, which will be used for the further process in the future.
Enter your personal and educational details such as Name, Father Name, qualifying examination, address etc.
Now, upload your scanned photograph, signature along with left-hand thumb impression in the given format and size.
Pay your application fee via online mode or through e-challan.
Submit your application form, you will receive Acknowledgement Page with Application Number.
Finally, download the acknowledgment page for future and take out a print out of the submitted application form.

JEE Main 2021 Exam Pattern
Here we are providing you the details regarding the exam pattern of JEE Main 2021.
JEE Main 2021 examination comprises of two papers, i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2.
Those, who want to take admissions into B.Tech would go for Paper 1 and those, who want to take admissions into B. Arch, would write Paper 2. One candidate can opt for either 1 or 2 or both.
JEE Main 2021 carries both multiple choices as well as objective type questions. There is also a drawing test, which is subjective in nature.
Writing language of JEE Main 2021 will be available in Hindi, English, Urdu, Marathi, and Gujarati.
Mode of the exam will be in online (Paper-based) and offline (Computer based).
The time duration of JEE Main 2021 will be 3 hours each for both the papers.
JEE Main 2021 consists of total 90 questions that carry 360 marks. Each question is of 4 marks. Each correct question will give you 4 marks, while each wrong question will deduct 1/4th marks as negative marking.
