CSIR UGC NET Eligibility

Eligibility criteria play an important role to appear in any exam. Here is the details regarding CSIR UGC NET 2021 eligibility criteria.

Age Limit: (For Junior Research Fellowship)

• For General Categories, upper age limit of candidates should be 28 years as on 1st January 2021.
• For SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates, there will be a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit.

Age Limit: (For Lectureship)

• There is no upper age limit for lectureship.

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates should hold M.Sc. degree/Integrated BS-MS (4years)/B.Tech/BE/B.Pharma from a recognized university.
• For General Categories, candidates should have 55% marks in graduation. For SC/ST and PWD candidates, it should be 50%.
• Those who have Ph.D. degree and also passed their Master’s degree before September 19, 1991, with 50% marks, are also eligible to apply for Lectureship.

• Candidates, who want to apply for CSIR UGC NET 2021 need to visit the official website, i.e. www.csirhrdg.res.in
• Candidates can apply for CSIR UGC NET through application form link available at the official website.
• Open the application form and carefully fill the important details.
• Now get a print out of filled application form.
• After that, paste your recent passport size photograph on the space provided in Application form.
• The payment should be made in any branch of Indian bank.
• If candidates belong to Srinagar/Imphal, they can also pay via NEFT or RTGS.

CSIR UGC NET 2021 Application Fees

CSIR UGC NET Application Fee details are as follows:

• For General candidates, application fee is Rs 1000.
• For OBC/NCL candidates, application fee is Rs 500.
• For SC/ST candidates, application fee is Rs 500.
• For Physically handicapped/Visually Handicapped candidates, application fee is Rs 250.

CSIR UGC NET Admit Card 2021

• Candidates can get CSIR UGC NET 2021 admit cards from last week of May 2021 onwards.
• Candidates can download the admit card from official website, i.e. www.csirhrdg.res.in.
• Candidates have to enter the application form number and DOB to download the admit card.
• There will not any hard copy of admit card to be sent via post.
• Candidates have to carry the hard copy of admit card at the time of examination.
