Bhartiya Shiksha Parishad Lucknow Admission was established in the year 1983 under the guidance of Jurist, Eminent Educationists and Social workers for the improvement of Education in wide areas.
On 24 September 1984, The Government Of Uttar Pradesh, Registered the Parishad for propagation and of distance education on the pattern of Open continuing & Distance Education System.
The Parishad, under the Government Of India, is Legal Autonomous and Non-profit Institution and has legal rights of teaching & training under the provision of the constitution. Various Authorities and Departments of the Government of India/State Governments and Union Territories by the Parishad receive Copies of Bylaws, Prospectus, Etc by the Parishad from time to time. The area of operation of the BSP is wide and extensive all over India.

The main Aim of Bhartiya Shiksha Parishad is the growth of Hindi in all the states of India and to educate the people by giving them Job Oriented Education and to help others to do the research work also.
Main Objectives Of Bhartiya Parishad, Uttar Pradesh is:
- To provide higher education one and all, irrespective of age/sex/caste/territory.
- To provide job-oriented and professional education.
- To promote and popularise education under Open & Distance Education System on the pattern of other countries.
- The option to select choice subjects and imbibe more education at a lesser cost.
Bhartiya Shiksha Parishad, U.P. offers various courses to its students. Academic Programme, Educational, Management P.G. Programme, Management Programme (Diploma), Para Medical Programme, B. Tech./ M. Tech. The programme, Information Tech. / Computer Programme & B.S.P.I.T.I (Vocational) Programme are such course that Institution offers of different Durations and Eligibility Criteria.
The Parishad has a Syllabus similar to those of the various Indian Universities. Study materials are specially prepared as per the traditional Universities of the country as well as by the Experts Committee of Parishad’s and the Syllabus is Edited by the subject specialist concerned. The Audio-Visual cassettes given to the students are prepared under the good guidance of syllabus writers and University Faculty members and producers. Before these materials are made available to the students, is checked a number of times.
Bhartiya Shiksha Parishad Lucknow provides Scholarships to deserving candidates for every centre according to merit which will be for a duration of three months only. Some Scholarships are Merit-based, Some are given to Handicapped candidates, Outstanding players, Economically weaker sections. Also to Parishad’s Staff/Centres/Members son/ Daughter, Husband/Wife.
As per the Government Of India Rules, Provision for Reservation of seats in all courses is available to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Widows of Army Men, Ex-Army Men, Backward and Handicapped Students.
