DBS Online Registration Process

The Registration Form consists of certain columns, which all are required to be filled with the correct information for further steps. 

The candidate is required to fill up his/her Full Name, Updated Email-Address, Mobile Phone Number, State & City of Residence and the Desired course

  • After filling the entire registration form correctly, you'll receive an OTP on your registered mobile phone number. Using it will ask you to create your log-in ID and Password.
  • After this, Log-in using your ID and Password, and make the registration payment.
  • Now, fill in your academic details, upload your identification documents and select an interview date according to your selected location or enter your Skype ID, in case you are up for a video call interview.
  • Doing all these above-mentioned steps will make you receive a confirmation mail, which will consist of your interview date according to availability.

DBS Dehradun UG Courses Admission 

For admission in one of the Undergraduate courses offered by DBS Dehradun, students' 12th standard marks will be considered. A personal interview round will also be held along with it.

There are 2 methods for admission in DBS's UG Course, Let's talk about each of them:-

  • Early Decision Process
  • Regular Admission Process

Early Decision Process

In this process, the 10th and 11th Standard's performance of students will be considered, who are applying for admission just after completing their 12th with their awaited results. Besides the evaluation of their performance, a personal interview round of them will also get conducted at various locations across the nation. 

Those who are already meeting the eligibility criteria and are applying through the early decision process will get instant admission into the course. 

In case, the student doesn't meet up to the eligibility requirements but is applying through the early decision process, then his/her admission application will be considered on a priority basis at the time of the regular admission process. 


Regular Admission Process

There is not any extra benefit in the regular admission process, hence it is also really simple to understand it. Students applying through this method can register online by this Link. After registration, at the time of admission, the marks of the student's 12th standard will be considered and an interview session will be organized to check if the student applying is capable enough to do the course or not.

Alternative Method

Students applying for admission through this method are required to download the application form from the official website of Doon Business School. After filling the application form, students are required to attach a demand draft worth INR 1000 and have to send the application form at Doon Business School, 122 mi, Selaqui, Dehradun.


DBS Dehradun PG & Diploma Course Admission

  • DBS in Dehradun allows admission only after analyzing the marks scored by the student in MAT/CAT/CMAT/GMAT/XAT or in graduation, along with a personal interview session.
  • The student is required to fill-up the registration form. After entering the correct details in the form along with the required registration fee, as per the time scheduled by the University, the student will receive an option to choose the desired location for Group Discussion and Personal Interview session. The facility to attend interview and case study analysis through skype has also made available by the University. 

Note: Application Fee before 15th March 2021: INR 750

Application Fee after 15th March 2021: INR 1,000

  • The student must report to the venue of the interview as decided by him while filling the application form. A list of documents is also necessary to carry by the student before visiting the interview session:- 3 Passport Sized Photographs, 10th Standard mark sheet and certificate, 12th standard mark sheet and certificate, MAT/CAT/GMAT/CMAT Score-card and Graduation Marksheet of all 3-4 years.

The Merit List will be drawn on the basis of:-

  • Graduation- 20%
  • MAT/CAT/GMAT/CMAT- 35%
  • GD/CASE Analysis- 20%
  • Weightage for Participation in Sports and Extra-Curricular Activities: 5%

After receiving the list of shortlisted students & founding your name on the list, the student must confirm their admission within 15 days. After confirmation, the admission fees are also required to be submitted through the official website or through a bank demand draft. However, the admission fee for MBA is INR 35,000 & for PGDM it is INR 50,000

After submitting the exact fees, the student will receive a fee receipt along with a confirmed admission letter within 10 days of fee submission. Students confirmed for admission will have to submit their remaining 1st-year fees within the next 30 days of fee confirmation.


Bank Loan Request Application

Those students who have already applied for a bank loan and need some extra time must submit an application request within 3 weeks of confirmation of admission. An additional time of 30 days to deposit the fees will be provided by the director through a bank loan only after an additional payment of INR 25,000 with an undertaking, denoting that if the fee is not deposited till the due date, then the University can allow the seat to any other candidate.

Scholarships in DBS Dehradun

Doon Business School has also introduced several scholarships for its students. These fellowships are like aid to those, who belong to an economically weaker section of society. However, any student of any category can apply for these scholarships, but, after following up on a proper application procedure.

Important Note:-

  • Candidates will have to appear in an interview for the scholarship
  • The scholarships will be provided on the first 15% seats for students of each program at first come first serve basis.
  • Scholarships' Application after 30th June will not be accepted.
  • Candidates will be required to submit their admission registration forms with the scholarship applications.

Application Process for Undergraduate Students:-

  1. Students are required to apply through the prescribed form on the official website before applying for the scholarships. Students who do not apply before confirmation of admission will not be considered eligible for the merit scholarship.
  2. Students must submit photo-copies of all their mark sheets and certificates as per the demand for scholarships.
  3. As notification of approved scholarship, you'll receive official confirmation in form of an official letter from DBSG.
  4. The scholarship will be allotted semester-wise.
  5. In case the result of the previous semester has not announced yet, even till the last of fee submission, then the student will be required to submit fees equivalent to the previous semester fees. In-case the student fails to get the required marks then he/she will have to submit the balance fees too.
  6. While applying for the scholarship, the marks of all 5 subjects in class 12th of the student will be considered. In case the student had appeared in more than 5 subjects, then the marks of the best 5 subjects will be taken into consideration.

For Postgraduate Students:-

For postgraduate students applying for PGDM/MBA and have appeared in qualifying examinations before with a specified minimum percentage in graduation, the University has introduced scholarship too. The CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT marks of the student will be taken into consideration before shortlisting for the scholarship.

Important Note:- Same points to keep in mind, just like for Undergraduate Students.

Application Process for Post Graduate Students:-

  • Students willing to apply for the scholarship must submit the form available on the official website after filling it with necessary details and registration fees.
  • The student should submit photocopies of all the required documents for the scholarship.
  • Students should give an undertaking specifying that he/she will not leave the course in the middle of it.
  • After registration, students will receive proper notification from DBSG in the form of an official letter, confirming shortlisted scholarship students.
  • In case the result of the previous semester has not announced yet, even till the last of fee submission, then the student will be required to submit fees equivalent to the previous semester fees. In-case the student fails to get the required marks then he/she will have to submit the balance fees too.
