Abdul Kalam Technology Innovation National Fellowship 2023 Application Form and Last Date

Abdul Kalam Technology Innovation National Fellowship invites all the eligible candidates to apply for this scholarship. The scholarship is offered by the Indian National Academy of Engineering. The main aim of the scholarship is to encourage outstanding engineers to support and recognize translation research and to come out best with innovation. About Abdul Kalam Technology Innovation National Fellowship 

Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) and Science and Engineering Research Board, Department of Science and Technology has been offering INAE-SERB, DST Abdul Kalam Technology Innovation National Fellowship from the year 2017. The scholarship was introduced to encourage and support the research by Indian Nationals working in various capacities of the engineering profession in the public-funded institutions in the country. The nomination will be accepted throughout the year. Fellowship duration stays till 5 years A soft copy of the nomination is required to be sent through email, followed by one ink-signed original hard copy to be sent INAE office, Gurgaon through speed post.

Abdul Kalam Technology Innovation National Fellowship Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidates must be Indian National working in India in different streams of engineering profession at reputed public – funded organizations. 
• Must have a bachelor’s degree and relevant professional qualification.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of service left at the organization one is working with a son date of the award.
• Candidate should not be receiving any other scholarship. (If in case, the applicant gets selected he/she has to choose only one scholarship).

Abdul Kalam Technology Innovation National Fellowship Reward

• Candidates will get INR 25,000 per month as a fellowship amount along with the regular income. 
• Research grant of INR 15 lakh P/A which will be utilized for Engineering, Research and Experiments. Further activities consumables, manpower hiring, national/international travel for research. 
• Amount of INR 1 lakh per annum to the host institute.  
• As per Its government rule, this fellowship is taxable.

• The nomination should be sent by the heads of organizations /Institutions/Fellows/Presidents of National Science /Engineering Academies, SS Bhatnagar Awardees and JC Bose Awards.

Fellowship Selection 

Maximum 10 fellowships will be awarded per year.
