Building Energy Efficiency Higher & Advanced Network (BHAVAN) Fellowships Application Form, Eligibility and Last Date

It is being jointly offered by the Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) and the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.  Students holding M.Tech/M.Arch/ Ph.D. degree in Science, Engineering, Technology, and Architecture can apply for this fellowship program. Through this fellowship, talented Indian students and scientists will gain access to world-class research facilities in US institutions. The aim of this fellowship is to build long-term R&D linkages and collaborations between the two nations.

BHAVAN Fellowships 2019 Eligibility

In order to apply for this fellowship scheme, students have to fulfill the below-given eligibility conditions:

• A candidate must be a citizen of India.
• He/she must hold M.Tech/ M.Arch/ Ph.D. degree in Science, Engineering, Technology or Architecture in a relevant area of Building Energy Efficiency.
• Also, a candidate must secure a regular position in public-funded S&T institutions/ R&D laboratory/ recognized academic institution of India. 
• An applicant must pursue independent research on industry-supported/ extra-mural research projects and must be published in a high-impact academic journal.
• The maximum age of the candidate must be 40 years as on 31 December 2018.

Building Energy Efficiency Higher & Advanced Network (BHAVAN) Fellowships 2019 Rewards

The fellowship has a minimum duration of 3 months and a maximum duration of 12 months. The selected candidates will get a monthly stipend, contingency allowance, health insurance, and return airfare.

5. Click on that link and verify your mail ID.
6. Login your account by entering registered email ID and password.
7. Fill all the required details, upload all the necessary documents and submit the form. 

List Of Required Document

• Scanned copy of the first and last page of the passport
• Qualifying mark sheet of last academic year
• Two recommendation letters of the faculty member, advisor or lab  supervisor on their official letterhead
• Acceptance letter from the host institution
• A CV of US Host
• No objection certificate from a parent institution

Important Date

The online application of Building Energy Efficiency Higher & Advanced Network (BHAVAN) Fellowships 2019 has been started. The last date to submit the online application form is 31st August 2020.

Selection Procedure

Students fulfilling all the eligibility requirements will be selected for the award of the fellowship. The selection will be based on academics and research work of the participant.
