Centrally Sponsored Pre- Matric Scholarship for OBC is offered by the government of Himachal Pradesh. The selected students will get financial assistance for their education of class 1st to 10th. The students must be from the OBC category and preference will be given to those who belong to low-income backgrounds.

Centrally Sponsored Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme For OBC Eligibility Criteria:

• Domicile holder of Himachal Pradesh and citizen of Himachal Pradesh.
• Must belong to the OBC category.
• Students must be studying in class from 1st to 10th.
• Family income should be less than 2,50,000 P/A.

Selected students will get the following benefits:

• Monthly scholarship for hosteller from class 3rd to 10th: INR 500 (for 10 months).
• Scholarship for day scholar from class 1st to 10th: INR 100 (10 months)

How to Apply For Centrally Sponsored Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme For OBC

• Visit the national scholarship portal and click on new registration.
• Read the guidelines carefully and then fill in all the mandatory information.
• Select the scholarship scheme, gender, write your name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID.
• Provide Bank details (Bank Name, IFSC Code, Account Number)
• Select the Aadhaar or Bank Account number as identification details and click on the ‘Register’ button.
• The mobile number will be verified and OTP will be registered.

• The recipient of this scholarship cannot accept any other scholarship from any source.
• Candidates belonging to one state but studying in another state.
• Students domiciled in a state/ UT but holding OBC of other states/ UT can apply for a scholarship in State/ UT domicile subject to verification of the OBC certificate from a state where it was issued.
