District Merit Scholarship (DMS) 2019-20 | Eligibility Criteria, Application Form & Last Date

The government of Kerala grants District Merit Scholarship 2019-20 to the students who have secured A Plus in all subjects in SSLC examination organized by the Board of Public Examination, Kerala. The scholarship is also for the students studying for higher secondary/ ITI/ Polytechnic Course. The main aim of this scholarship is to aware of engineering courses after Class 10th and 12th. It is further to provide financial assistance to the underprivileged student or students from backward classes who cannot afford their education. 

It is to be noted that the DMS application form is for those candidates who haven't applied for the scholarship before. On the other hand, a renewal form is for those candidates who have already applied for the scholarship.

To apply for District Merit Scholarship, Kerala students must

• Applicant Has scored A plus in the SSLC examination.
• Must be studying or pursuing Higher Secondary/ VHSC/ ITI/ Polytechnic Course.

District Merit Scholarship, Kerala Rewards 2019-20

The eligible student will be given Rs 1,250 per annum and also the merit certificate by the government of Kerala.
