Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam IGNITE Award 2022 | Eligibility Criteria, Rewards, Application Form & Last Date

In association with some renowned organizations such as Honey Bee Network, SRISTI, and CBSE, National Innovation Foundation (NIF) announces the 10th national level competitionnamely Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam IGNITE Awards 2022 for the students of up to 12th standard. The foundation conducts this award competition to promote creativity in students. The candidates who want to participate in this annual national competition have to send their original creative technological ideas and innovations to the NIF official address. The innovation/idea can be anything that solves our daily life problems. This initiative is basically taken in the loving memory of late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam IGNITE Awards Reward 2022

Candidates whose entries will be selected will receive the following benefits

• The student and one person accompanying the student will get to and fro travel expenses for train from home location to Ahmedabad.
• Also, the projects/innovations of selected candidates will be put on exhibition.
• All useful innovations may be provided with financial and mentoring support.
• Candidates who will submit the maximum number of properly documented entries to NIF will receive appreciation certificates.

Here, we are listing the eligibility criteria for Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam IGNITE Awards 

1. Students of up to 12th class can apply for IGNITE awards
2. Candidates who are out of school with an age not more than 17 years can also apply.

Candidates can submit their entries/innovations through the following methods

• Candidates can submit their innovations online at Application Process or http://nif.org.in/submitidea.php
• After clicking this link, fill in all the required details and upload your ideas.
• Students can submit their entries either individually or in a group.
• After filling in all the requisite details, click on the submit button.

Students also have the option to email the details at ignite@nifindia.org or
Mail them directly or through the principal  to the below-given address

Selection will be based on the originality and innovative concept of the student. There is no fixed number of prizes awarded to the students. It will depend upon the number of quality entries submitted by the students.
