Government Of India Post Matric Scholarship 2021: In June 2006 The Prime Minister of India has announced a New 15 Point Programme. In this program, the main objective is to provide education and welfare of minorities. The government of India takes initiative to provide Post-Metric Scholarship to the brilliant and merit holder students who belong from the minority communities or SC/Nav Buddha/OBC/VJNT students. This scholarship is an award to hardworking candidates who are meritorious students but economically weaker and want to pursue further academics and so as the government provides opportunities for higher studies by which they can enhance the employability and literacy rate will be uplifted.
Eligible Criteria For Government Of India Post Matric Scholarship 2021
Eligibility for the scholarship is as follows
- Students who belong to the Sc community, their family income should be less than Rs 2.00 lacs per annum for the full scholarship. On the contrary, candidates from OBC category, their parents/ guardian annual income should not above 1.00 lacs
- Instructions for SBC, if parents income is exceeding the minimum range (above 1-2 lacs or up to 6 lacs ) then examination fees, education fees, and other fees will be funded by the government
- A student should be qualified at least 10th standard or studying above
- Students who apply for this scholarship should be resident of Maharashtra
- Repeater allowance is not acceptable
- Students who work full time are not eligible for this scholarship
Government Of India Post Matric Scholarship Scheme Reward
The federal body of India offers various ranges under Post-Metric Scholarship which includes different courses, first and the foremost, hostel expenses range between Rs 750 per month and Rs 260 per month for both boys and girls. Secondly, day scholars added Rs 350 to Rs 160 range. Thirdly, the scholarship also provides study tour charge of Rs 900 per annum, thesis typing and printing expenses of Rs 1000, book allowance for correspondence courses of Rs 900 per annum and especially for blind students, reader charges include (between) Rs 90 per month to Rs 175 per month. Last but not least, the CPL course also indulges with this scheme, this award depends on first come first serve condition and selected candidates are offered an amount of Rs5000 per flying hour. Also, the maintenance allowance is also provided worth Rs 750 per month for hostellers and Rs 350 for day scholars.
