Higher Education Scheme Gujarat 2023, Last Date, Application Process & Eligibility

The government of Gujarat is offering Higher Education Scheme, Gujarat 2023 to the students of class 11th to post-graduation level. Students who are the permanent resident of the Gujarat state can apply for this scholarship scheme. The main purpose of the government behind offering this scholarship scheme is to financially help needy students who want to pursue higher education but due to the lack of money, they can’t continue their studies.

Eligibility Criteria For Gujarat Government Scholarships For College Students

• Students pursuing education at a higher secondary level such as 11th, 12th, graduation (medical, engineering, law, pharmacy, fine arts, art, science, commerce, etc) and post-graduation can apply for this scholarship scheme.
• An applicant must complete his/her study from the government of grant in aid colleges.
• The family annual income of an applicant must be less than INR 2.5 lacs.

The selected candidates will be offered a scholarship amount between INR 1000 to INR 6000 on an annual basis.
Students will receive a scholarship for a period of one year.

• Enter all your personal details.
• Once the registration is completed, you have to login your account.
• After login, you can fill the rest of the details in the scholarship form.
• Also, you will be asked to upload all the necessary documents.
• Finally, submit the form and take the printout of the confirmation page for further use.

• First page of passbook/canceled cheque
• Passport size photograph
• Self-attested copy of Aadhaar card
• Fee receipt of current course year
• Self-attested copy of previous year mark sheet

Important Dates

Higher Education Scheme, Gujarat application form is now available. Students who are eligible can fill and submit the application form until 31st August 2023.

Selection Procedure

Based on the fulfillment of eligibility conditions, students will be selected for the award of a scholarship. Also, the student’s financial background will be taken into consideration for providing scholarships.
