Higher Secondary Scholarship (Minority), Gujarat 2020-21, Last Date, Application Form, Eligibility 

Higher Secondary Scholarship for Minority is meant for the students of class 11th and class 12th belonging to the minority community. Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Gujarat is the authority which offers this scholarship to the eligible students. The objective of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance and ensure the economic welfare of the students belonging to the minority community.

Eligibility Criteria Higher Secondary Scholarship (Minority)

Students willing to apply for this scholarship can ensure their eligibility from here:

• This scholarship is offered only to Gujarat Bonafide candidates.
• The applicant must be of the minority community.
• The annual income of the applicant family must not exceed INR 1.50 Lacs.

Higher Secondary Scholarship (Minority) Reward 2020-21

Students who will be eligible and selected for the scholarship will get the following benefits:
Class 11 students residing in hostels will receive a scholarship amount of INR 725 per annum while the day scholars will get INR 475 per annum.
Students studying in class 12th will get a scholarship amount of INR 1140 per annum (hosteller students) and the day scholars will receive INR 840 per annum.

How to Apply For Higher Secondary Scholarship (Minority) 2020-21

Candidates can know here the application process for the scholarship:

• Students can apply for a scholarship through online mode only.
• The official website link for filling the online application form is https://www.digitalgujarat.gov.in/CitizenApp/Citizen/CitizenWEBUI/Registration.aspx
• Candidates can start the registration process as a new user.
• Click on the “New Registration” button.
• Now, enter all the details asked while filling the registration form.
• Once the candidate has registered, then he/she has to login by entering a valid email ID and password.
• After the successful completion of the login process, students have to fill the rest of the details in the application form.
• Also, upload the scanned copy of all required documents.
• Submit your entries by clicking on the submit button.
• At last, retain a copy of the filled-in application form for future correspondence.

• The first page of bank passbook/canceled cheque
• School/college current year bonafide certificate
• Income certificate
• Hostel certificate (for hosteller students)
• Fee receipt of current course year
• Self-attested copy of Aadhar card
• Self-attested caste certificate 
• Self-attested certificate of academic mark sheet of the previous year
• School leaving certificate

Important Dates

Application form of Higher Secondary Scholarship (Minority), Gujarat 2020 is now available. The last date to submit the filled-in application form is 31st August 2020. Applicants must submit their applications before due dates as no application will be accepted later on.

Selection Procedure

The government award scholarship to the eligible candidates only. Student’s selection for scholarship basically depends upon the funds limit and their performance in the previous examination.
