Hindustan Times Scholarship 2020-21, Eligibility & Rewards, Application Form, Last Date
HT Media is inviting the applications of Hindustan Times Scholarship Programme 2020-21 for the Indian nationals residing in Mumbai, Pune, Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali. HT Scholarship 2020-21 is available for the students studying in class 5th to 10th. Hindustan Margdarshan Scholarship 2020-21 has the objective to reward the brightest and talented young minds by evaluating their academic performance.
Hindustan Times Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 2020-21
In order to apply for this scheme, students have to fulfil the following eligibility conditions:
- An applicant must be a citizen of India.
- Students who are studying in Class 5th to 10th in Mumbai.
- Students who are studying in Class 5th to 9th in Pune, Chandigarh & Haryana.
- It is necessary for the aspirants to secure minimum 60 % marks in the last qualifying examination.
Hindustan Times Scholarship Programme Rewards
Total of 120 students will be selected for the award of scholarship. The details are given below:
- 60 students that will be selected from Mumbai will get INR 50,000/- each.
- 35 students from Chandigarh, Panchkula & Mohali will receive INR 25,000/- each.
- 25 students from Pune will get INR 25,000/- each.
How To Apply For HT Scholarship 2020-21
All the applicants need to follow these steps in order to apply for this scholarship:
- Students can apply via online or offline mode.
- Click Here to apply online.
- Fill all the requisite details carefully.
- Attach an essay on the topic ‘Are we too dependent on our computers and mobile phones if yes, how can we reduce the addiction?’. The length of the essay is up to 250 words.
- Also, attach the 5 HT scholarship quiz cutting from the newspaper.
- Applicants also need to upload the previous year academic records.
- Those wishing to apply via offline mode can get the application form from the Hindustan Times newspaper of Mumbai, Pune, Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali.
- Offline forms will also be distributed in schools by HT Media Limited representative.

Selection Procedure For Hindustan Times Scholarship Programme
Students will get selected by the experts on the basis of their academic record, extracurricular achievements and essay. The shortlisted candidates will then interviewed by the panel of senior editors. The winners will get the chance to attend the award function.
