ICAI Commerce Wizard Scholarship 2020-21, Syllabus, Registration Process, Rewards, Exam Date

ICAI Commerce Wizard 2020-21, is started with the aim to educate and motivate students so that they can achieve excellence in the commerce stream. This commerce talent search test is designed to check the ability to understand the basics and concepts of commerce by the students. The competition is being organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Many students, after giving outstanding and praiseworthy performances, received financial help from ICAI Commerce Wizard 2020.
The registrations for ICAI Commerce Wizard 2020-21 will end on 24 December. For candidates with late fee submission, the last date announced is 31st December. Students pursuing 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th standards, or B.Com/ BBA/ BMS/ Allied Subjects are free to register for the ICAI Commerce Wizard. The two levels of commerce wizard are distinguished in two varied modes of conduction. Level-1 can be taken online anywhere, but Level-2, which is also an online test, can only be taken of shortlisted students of Level-1, but at specific centers.

ICAI Commerce Wizard Eligibility 2020-21

Down below are some norms that need to be fulfilled, to become eligible for ICAI Commerce Wizard:-

• The aspirant must be a student in India.
• Students pursuing 9th to 12th standard or B.Com/ BBA/ Allied subjects examination are the only ones allowed to register as an applicant for the Competition.
• Students studying from distant universities and boards can also consider themselves eligible for the exam.
• Capable wards of Military or Railway personnel are also eligible for the scheme.

Prizes for Participants

Level - 1Test:All the participants of Level-1 will be given a participation certificate.

Level - 2Test

• The aspirant who has scored the 1st rank will be awarded 1.00.000 Rupees. If there is more than one winning candidate, then the prize money will be shared by them. But in case there are more than 50 joint rank holders for the same, then the awardees will receive at least 2000 Rupees each.
• 50,000 Rupees, will be awarded to the candidate holding 2nd rank. But if there are multi-users, then the amount will be distributed among them. In case the number of 2nd Rank holders is more than 33, then each achiever will receive at least 1500 Rupees.
• Rank 3 holders will be provided 25,000 Rupees. If there are multiple users, then the price will be shared by them as usual, but if there are more than 33 joint rank holders, then each individual will attain the cash prize of 750 Rupees.
• Afterward, 200 participants will be awarded the consolation prize money of INR 500 with an appreciation certificate.
• The remaining participants will get a participation certificate.
• First, 3 Rank achievers will be paid (Reimbursed) after paying their fees for registering in the intermediate scheme of the CA course.

Award Ceremony: Award Ceremony will get celebrated in February 2020-21

ICAI Commerce Wizard 2020-21 Registration Process

Steps to Register and fill ICAI Commerce Wizard Application Form:-

Step 1 - Click Here & visit the official Registration Link of the scholarship.
Step 2 - Fill up the Application form with accurate educational and contact details.
Step 3 - Click on the 'Pay Now' tab and make the Registration Fees payment through Credit/Debit card or Net Banking.
Step 4 - Proper follow-up of all the steps mentioned above will submit your application successfully.
Note: Applicants applying after 31st December will have to pay INR 150 as the Registration Fee.

Selection Procedure of ICAI Commerce Wizard Competition 2020-21

The criteria for selecting a candidate from the Level- 1 test to Level- 2 test.

From candidates who appeared in the Level- 1 test, 800 candidates will be selected, each from standard IX, X, XI, XII & B.Com, BBA, Allied Subjects for the Level- 2 examinations or 10% of the candidates appeared in Level- 1 will be selected for Level- 2 test, based on their performance in Level- 1 test.

Level- 2 Test: The Level- 2 test will be conducted of the shortlisted students of Level- 1. The Level- 2 test will be held in the designated test center via online mode.

Subjects of Level- 1 and Level- 2 Test

• For Class IX: Economics, Aptitude, Mathematics & Business Awareness.
• For Class X: Business Awareness, Social Studies, Aptitude, Mathematics.
• For Class XI: Economics, Aptitude, Accountancy, Business Studies.
• For Class XII: Aptitude, Economics, Accountancy, Business Studies.
• BMS/ BBA/ B.COM/ Allied Subject Examination: Financial Studies and Aptitude, Accountancy, Economics, Business Studies.

Note: Unattempted questions won't deduct any marks from you, but 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

ICAI Commerce Wizard 2021 Exam Pattern & Syllabus

Exam Pattern

• The test will be conducted in the English language only.
• Objective-type questions will be asked in the examination, which will provide 75 minutes to solve all of them.
• One hundred multiple-choice questions will be seen in the test.
• 0.25 marks will get deducted for each wrong answer.

Norms for ICAI Commerce Wizard 2020-21

• Seventy-five well-performed aspirants will be selected for the scholarship on the basis of their marks scored.
• Out of 75 scholars, 50 scholarships are already reserved for Military and Paramilitary Forces, while the remaining 25 are reserved for Railway Employees.
• Wards of retired personnel can also acquire a scholarship
• The companionship will also be given to the wards of the Indian Navy, Indian Army, Para Military Forces, Indian Air Force, and Railway Employees.
• A family with only a single child can receive the ICAI Commerce Wizard Scholarship 2020-21.
