IITM Summer Fellowship Programme 2020, Application Form, Eligibility, Last Date

Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IITM) is the authority conducting IITM Summer Fellowship Programme 2020 for the engineering, management, humanities and sciences students. It is the 2-months fellowship programme with a stipend provided to the selected fellows. The aim of this programme is to increase the interest and awareness of young students in high-quality research academic research.

Eligibility Criteria IITM Summer Fellowship Programme:

• This fellowship programme is open for the candidates pursuing the 3rd year of B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (engineering) programme.
• 3rd or 4th year of integrated M.E./M.Tech programme or 1st year of ME/M.Tech/M.Sc./M.A, MBA programme.

Note: IIT students are not eligible to apply for this fellowship.

IITM Summer Fellowship Programme Reward:

Selected fellows will receive a stipend of INR 6,000/- per month for a period of 2 months.

• Fill all the registration details.
• Upon successful registration, students will receive a verification link on their registered email ID.
• Create your password and fill the forms under “My Application Summary".
• Upload the required documents.
• Select the department and submit the form.
• At last, generate a pdf file and retain it for your reference.

Documents Required For IITM Summer Fellowship Programme:

• Academic mark sheets
• Passport size photograph
• Community certificate/PWD certificate (if applicable)
• Letter from the Institute certifying that the applicant is a bonafide student issued by the Head of Institution 

IITM Summer Fellowship Programme Important Dates:

Application form of this fellowship programme has been available now. The last date for form submission is 31st Aug 2020 (5:00 p.m.). The programme will start from 20th Sep 2020 to 19th Oct 2020. 

IITM Summer Fellowship Programme Selection Procedure:

Selection will be based on the candidate’s academic performance. Additionally, student’s other achievements such as papers presented at seminars projects done, scores in Mathematics Olympiad, design contests participated and any other awards obtained will be taken into consideration for providing fellowship.
