For increasing the literacy level among the students, who belong to a family, that comes under the category of Below Poverty Line, the Government of Himachal Pradesh has started the Integrated Rural Development Program - IRDP 2020-21. This scholarship scheme aims to provide the best possible financial support to the families of these students so that they couldn't miss any opportunity related to their careers.

Eligibility to Apply for IRDP Scholarship

To avail of the benefits of this scholarship, the candidate must fulfill these requirements:-

• The candidate must be a resident of Himachal Pradesh.
• The family of the candidate must come under the category of Below Poverty Line (BPL).
• The candidate must be a student of 9th standard or any University or Institute recognized by the government.
  
  

Rewards for the IRDP Scholarship, Himachal Pradesh, 2020-21

Students who'll be shortlisted for this scholarship will receive monetary benefits:-

• Female applicants of the 9th and 10th standard will receive INR 600 P/A.
• Male applicants of the 9th and 10th standard will receive INR 300 P/A.
• Applicants of the 11th and 12th class will receive INR 800 P/A.
• Day scholars of college will receive INR 1200 P/A.
• Applicants living in hostels of college or University will receive INR 2400 P/A.

Application Process for IRDP Scholarship Scheme 2020-21

Candidates who want to apply for this scholarship can follow the below-mentioned steps:

Visit the homepage of the official website and click the tab New Registration.

1. After going successfully through the guidelines, the candidate can click Continue to proceed further.
2. After that, you have to provide some necessary details, while selecting some verification options like the state of domicile, scholarship category, gender, scheme type, applicant's name and date of birth, applicant's email ID, and mobile number.
3. The next step you need to follow is to enter your correct bank details like Bank's Name, IFSC Code, MICR Code, and Bank's Account Number.
4. For completing registration, the candidate has to select the Aadhar number or Bank Account Number.
5. After performing this step, the candidate will receive an OTP on his/her registered mobile number or email id.
6. OTP received can be used to login and fill the form.
7. The applicant will receive an application ID and Password, which will be used for future purposes.
