KSCSTE Pratibha Scholarship Programme 2020| Eligibility, Last Date Online Application Form

For the students of Kerela State studying at graduation and post-graduation level, the Kerela state council of science, technology, and environment has introduced a scholarship named as KSCTE Pratibha Scholarship 2020. This scholarship has been introduced under the SPEED Scheme (Student Programme for Excellence in Experimental Design). The primary focus of this scholarship is to provide financial support & to motivate the students for higher studies in the science stream.

Eligibility for KSCTE Pratibha Scholarship

• Candidate must have a domicile certificate of Kerela
• Candidate must qualify the 12th standard from a recognized education board.
• Candidate must have scored a minimum of 90% aggregate marks in relevant science stream subjects. (80% aggregate marks for SC, ST & OBC)
• Candidate must have taken admission either in B.Sc, Integrated M.Sc, Integrated BS-MS Course, or in Natural Science.

Awards/Benefits of KSCTE Pratibha Scholarship Scheme 2020

For Undergraduate Level Students/First 3 years of Integrated M.Sc

• In the Ist Year, students will receive INR 12,000
• In the 2nd Year, Students will receive INR 18,000
• In the 3rd Year, Students will receive INR 24,000

For Postgraduate Level Students

• In the 1st Year, students will receive an amount of INR 40,000
• In the 2nd Year & 5th Year, students will receive an amount of INR 60,000

Documents you need to apply for KSCTE Pratibha Scholarship Programme 2020

After selection, the student is required to submit these documents:-

• Student's datasheet, signed by the applicant itself and the head of the institution from where he/she has completed a degree course.
• Copy of 12th standard board examination's mark sheet, self-attested.
• Community Certificate for SC/ST Applicants.
• Certificate showing that the applicant belongs to the origin of Kerala.•
• Terms & Conditions must be duly signed.
• E-Payment form should be in a prescribed format.

To apply for this scholarship, the candidate has to follow these steps:-

• To register as a fresh user, enter your email ID & password. This will create a new account for you.
• After that, you'll receive an email on your registered mail-Id, with a Link in it. You have to click on that link to activate your account.
• After the complete activation of your account, fill up the required details there, then you'll be logged-in successfully like a registered applicant.

How are applicants going to be selected for this scholarship (Selection Criteria)?
A total of 100 scholarships introduce each year, out of which 10% are already reserved for the SC/ST candidates & 50% for the girl candidates.
The selection and allotment will be done on the basis of aggregate marks scored by the candidate in the relevant science stream subjects of the 12th standard board examination.

Terms & Conditions for KSCTE Pratibha Scholarship Programme 2020

• The duration of this scholarship will be of 3 years.
• At first, the scholarship will be released for only 1st year, which will extend for the subsequent years if the student maintains a minimum aggregate score of at least 60%.
• The study will be continuous & no break is allowed.
• The number of allotted scholarships will be proportional to the number of eligible applicants from corresponding boards.
