Social Justice & Special Assistance Department, Government of Maharashtra is providing the maintenance allowance to V.J.N.T and SBC Students pursuing professional courses and residing in hostels attached to colleges. The aim of this scheme is to support and encourage V.J.N.T and SBC students in completing higher education.

Maintenance Allowance To V.J.N.T And SBC Students of Professional Courses Maharashtra Reward:

The selected students will receive financial aid on the basis of course which they are pursuing:

• Candidates pursuing 4 to 5 years of a professional programme like Engineering, Medical, Agriculture etc. will get maintenance allowance of INR 700 per month.
• Those studying 2 to 3 years of the programme (M.S.W, Engineering Dip., M.S.W etc.) will receive INR 500 per month.
• For 2 years or lesser period of courses (B.Ed., D.Ed. etc.), students will get INR 500 per month. 

Maintenance Allowance To V.J.N.T And SBC Students of Professional Courses Maharashtra Eligibility:

Here are the eligibility conditions which aspirants have to mandatorily fulfil to apply for this scheme:

• An applicant must be pursuing professional courses like engineering, medical, animal husbandry etc.
• He/she must belong to SBT or V.J.N.T category and must be admitted in government hostel or approved private hostels.

Application form of this scheme has been released. Candidates must submit the filled-in application form on or before 28th February 2019. No applications will be accepted after due dates.
