Merit Scholarship for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Minority students, Delhi 2021 is one of the scholarships introduced by the Directorate of Education, Govt. of NCT, Delhi. For the last past years, the Government of Delhi has been trying to improve the level of education by forming many educational schemes/scholarships. The scholarship is for the students of SC/ ST/ OBC / Minority category from Class 1st to 12th to pursue their studies. The purpose of the scheme is to provide financial help to underprivileged students who cannot afford their education.

Merit Scholarship For SC/ ST/ OBC/ Minority students, Delhi 2021-22 Eligibility Criteria

 Applicants must meet the following criteria before applying for Merit Scholarship for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Minority students

• Students must belong to SC/ ST/ OBC/ Minority category.
• Must have domicile of Delhi.
• Studying in public school/g ovt / aided / Kendriya vidhyala / NDMC /Delhi Cantonment Board.  
• Have annual income up to INR 2,00,000 for OBC and minority. It is to be noted that for SC/ST students there are no income criteria.
• Have a score minimum of 60 % to 70 % marks in the previous Class examination. 

Merit Scholarship For SC/ ST/ OBC/ Minority students, Delhi 2021 Rewards 

The selected students of merit scholarship for sc/st/obc/minority students Delhi 2021 will be given a particular amount that will vary from category to category

SC/ ST Minority: from class 1st to 8th INR 1000 per annum.

OBC Class 6th to 8th 

INR 600 per annum (have scored 55 % to 60 % marks in the previous class)
INR 720 per annum (must have scored 60 % and above marks in the previous class)

SC/ST/ Minority Students: Class 9th to 10th 

INR 1620 per annum (have scored 55 % to 60 % marks in the previous class) 
INR 2040 per annum (60 %and above marks in the previous class)

SC/ ST/ OBC/ Minority Students: class 11th to 12th 

INR 3000 per annum (must have scored 55 % to 70 % marks in the previous class)
INR 4500 per annum (must have scored 70 % marks in the previous class)

• Students belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC will have to upload a caste certificate or domicile certificate in case of non-availability of a caste certificate.
• Applicants with a gap of three years will have to upload an affidavit.
