Mother Teresa Scholarship (MTS), Kerala 2019-20, Last Date, Application Form & Eligibility Criteria

It is granted by the Department of Minority Welfare, Government of Kerala to the minority students who are pursuing a nursing diploma / paramedical courses. The scholarship provides financial assistance to the students who are from a minority class and could not afford their studies. 

Eligibility For Mother Teresa Scholarship (MTS) Kerala 2020

• Should belong to a minority community (Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Parsis, Jains).
• Should have secured admission in the merit list for nursing diploma / paramedical courses. 
• Family income should be less than 8 lakh.
• Should be the native of Kerala.

Mother Teresa Scholarship (MTS) Kerala Reward 2019-20

The selected students will get INR 15,000 P/A for their respective courses.

2. Fill the form with all the mandatory details. 
3. Submit the form.
4. Download the form and paste your one passport size photograph on the form.
5. Attach all the mandatory documents and send it to the institution. 

Required Documents

• Printout of a registration with photo pasted on it.
• Copy of mark sheet of SSLC/ Plus 2/ VHSE.
• Copy of allotment memo.
• Copy of Aadhaar Card/ NPR card.
• Copy of Nativity Certificate
• Copy of the first page of a Pass Book
• Copy of Community/ Minority certificate.
• Income Certificate
• Non-creamy layer Certificate.
• Copy of Ration Card 

Selection Criteria

The selection will be done on the basis of

• Family income.
• The scholarship will be divided between the Muslim students and students of other majority categories in the ratio of 80:20.
• 50 % of the scholarship is reserved for the girls.

Important Date

The last date to apply for the scholarship is 31st October 2019.
