The government of Bihar invites application for Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana Bihar from girl students who are domicile holders of Bihar. This scholarship emphasis on girl students who are willing to pursue their higher education. The girl candidates are getting a platform of women empowerment and able to live independently. Another aim to introduce this scheme is to promote girl’s education, restrain child marriage, balance sex ratio, and promote vaccination and reducing the death rate of a girl child. 

Eligibility criteria for Kanya Utthan Yojana Bihar

To apply for Chief Minister Kanya Utthan Yojana Graduation, Bihar one must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Girl candidates can apply.
• The applicant should be a domicile holder of Bihar.
• One must have completed her graduation after 24-04-2020 from a government recognized /deemed to be the university.
• Must be economically weak.

Awards of Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana 

• Selected students will be offered one-time financial assistance of INR 25,000.
• This scholarship scheme is limited only for two girl children.
• Parents can get INR 2000 after a girl child. After birth registration, they will get INR 1000.
• This scholarship costing is total INR 54,000.

• After girl child completed two years – INR 2000
• P/A 1-2 years Poshak– INR 600
• P/A 3-5 years Poshak – INR 700
• P/A 6 to 8 years Poshak- INR 1000
• P/A 9-12 years Poshak – INR 1500
• After passing 12^th (UNMARRIED) – INR 10,000
• After completing graduation- INR 25,000

• Click on “Student Registration”.
• Read the instruction carefully and fill all the information carefully.
• After registration, login using a registered user ID and password.
• Complete the rest of the scholarship details.
• Submit your application form.
• One can also apply through MKUY mobile application.

Documents Required

Student’s photograph – less than 50 KB

Signature of a student –20 KB or less

Aadhaar Card -500KB or less

Domicile Certificate 500KB or less

First Page of bank passbook – 500 KB or less

Graduation certificate /passing mark sheet – 500 KB or less.
