National Youth Award 2022-23: Eligibility Criteria, Application Form & Last Date

The Ministry of Youth Affairs invites all the eligible candidates to apply for the National Youth Award 2022. This award is granted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports for the Indian youth from age 15 to 29 years for their tremendous and outstanding work in social service. The award is presented to young men and women and voluntary organization for their extraordinary work in the field of development activities and social services such as health, research, and innovation, culture, promotion of human rights, art and literature, tourism, traditional medicine, active citizenship, community service, sports, smart learning, and academic excellence. 

Eligibility Criteria For National Youth Award 2022

To apply for the National Youth Award candidate must be :

• Citizens of India.
• Between the age of 15- 29 years as of first January of the nominated year.
• Should have done extraordinary and identical social work.
• Should have properly constituted the working body according to the constitution.
• Should be a non-profit organization.
• Should be in the position to secure involvement on a voluntary basis. 
• Should not discriminate against any religion, caste, creed, etc.
• It should have a good reputation among the local community/area.
• Should have been bestowed with this award before.

• Number of Awards in the individual category: 25
• Award: Medal, Certificate & award money of INR 50,000
• Number of Awards for Organizations: 10
• Award: Medal, Certificate & award money of INR 2,00,000

Selection Criteria National Youth Award 2022

Candidates and organizations will be selected on the following criteria:

• The screening committee will select all the applications and proposes the names of the awardees thrice the number of the awards to be given.
• The selection committee which comprises eight members will scrutinize all the recommendations and will do the final selection.
