Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) Poem/Song Contest 2020
Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) Poem/Song Contest is being conducted by the Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA), under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India. Students studying in school, college and the general public are eligible to participate in this contest. The theme of the contest is “Save fuel for Better Environment and Health”. The purpose of this contest is to spread awareness regarding less consumption of fuel to save the environment.

3 categories students can participate in this contest i.e.
- Students studying in a school affiliated to any recognized board of India,
- Students enrolled in college/University
- General public
Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) Poem/Song Contest Reward
- In each category, the candidate who wins the first prize will be awarded with the branded tablet or mobile set worth INR 20,000/-.
- Gift voucher of worth INR 10,000/- (in each category) will be given to the second prize winner.
- The third prize winner in each category will get a gift voucher worth INR 5,000/-.
- Consolation prizes (in each category) in the form of a gift voucher worth INR 3,000/- will be given to the 5 - runner-ups.
How To Apply For PCRA Poem/Song Contest 2020 Application Form
The application process of the Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) Poem/Song Contest is as follows

- To activate the entry, students have to click on “Do this task now”.
- Now, Select ‘Submit your task’ under the ‘All Comments’ section and upload your song/poem.
- Students can also email their entries at socialconnect@pcra.org.
Documents Required To Apply For PCRA Poem/Song Contest
- School students have to upload a copy of valid school ID along with the entry.
- College/University Students have to upload a copy of valid college/university ID along with the entry.
Terms & Conditions
- The poem/song must have a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 20 lines composed in stanzas.
- Each candidate can submit a maximum one entry.
- PCRA employees and their children are not eligible to apply.
- The contest will be conducted in Hindi (Devanagari script).
Important Dates
Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) Poem/Song Contest 2018 application forms are now available. The last date to submit the form is 15th August 2019.
Selection Procedure
Students will be selected by the Jury/Expert committee on the basis of entries provided by the student. Selection will also be done on the basis of the content quality of the song/poem.
