Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India offers Post Matric Financial Assistance for Education of the Wards of Beedi/ Cine/ IOMC/ LSDM Workers 2021-22. This scholarship is available for the students of the post-matric level i.e. for the students who have successfully pursuing Class 11th to post-graduation Courses and diploma courses. The main objective of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to the needy and poor students for higher studies in India.

Financial Assistance For Education Of The Wards Of Beedi/ Cine/ IOMC/ LSDM Workers Eligibility 2021-22

Anyone who wants to apply for this scholarship must check their eligibility from here

• Students whose parents are either Beedi, Iron Ore Manganese & Chrome Ore Mines, Limestone and Dolomite Mines, Cine worker with at least 6 months of service can apply for this scheme. It also includes Contract/Gharkhataworkers.
• The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination on the first attempt.
• To be eligible for the award of scholarship, it is necessary that students have taken admission into regular general or technical courses such as engineering, medicine, agricultural studies, etc.  
• Family annual income must not be more than INR 1,00,000/- per annum from all sources.
• Students who have completed the same stage of education and studying the same stage in different subjects are not eligible.
• Moreover, the students who have completed their educational careers in one professional line and continue education in different professional lines cannot apply for this scheme.

Note: Candidates pursuing studies through correspondence cannot apply for this scheme.

Post-Matric Financial Assistance For Education Of The Wards Of Beedi/Cine/IOMC/LSDM Workers Reward 2021

The students who will be eligible and selected for this scholarship will get the following benefits

• Students pursuing PUC I and II will receive an amount of INR 2440/- (both girls and boys).
• Both girls and boys pursuing ITI will get INR 10,000/-.
• Students studying degree courses will get the financial assistance of INR 3000/-.
• In case of pursuing professional courses like MBBS, B.E., B.Sc. (Agri.), the amount to be paid to both boys & girls will get INR 15,000/-.
