Post Matric Scholarship For EBC Students 2019-20, Uttarakhand|Eligibility, Last Date & Application Process

The government of Uttarakhand is offering Post Matric Scholarship for EBC Students, Uttarakhand. This scholarship is available for economically backward classes (EBC) students enrolled in post-matriculation studies. The aim of this scholarship is to offer financial assistance to EBC students for pursuing higher education. Selected students will be eligible to get a scholarship for studies in India only.

Post Matric Scholarship For EBC Students 2020, Uttarakhand Eligibility

Following are the eligibility conditions which students have to fulfill to apply for this scheme:

• Indian nationals permanently settled in Uttarakhand state are eligible to apply for this scheme.
• An applicant must be pursuing post-secondary level education i.e. from class 11th to post-graduation level from a well-recognized institution.
• Students enrolled in distance education/correspondence courses are also eligible to apply.
• The family income of the applicant from all sources must not exceed INR 1 lac per annum.

Post Matric Scholarship For EBC Students 2020, Uttarakhand Rewards

The selected students will get reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees, maintenance allowance, study tour charges/thesis typing/printing charges, book allowance and reader charges for blind students.

• Reader allowance of up to INR 175/- per month will be given to blind scholars.
• The hostellers will get a maintenance allowance of INR 750/- per month and day scholars will get INR 350/- per month.
• Under this scheme, the scholars will get tuition fees, enrolment/registration fee and other fees like a library, magazine, medical, etc.
• Also, thesis typing/printing charges of maximum INR 1000/- will be provided to the research scholars.
• Students enrolled in professional or technical courses will get study tour charges of up to INR 900/- per annum.

The online application process of Post Matric Scholarship for EBC Students - Uttarakhand is as follows:

1. Click here to register online.
2. Afterward, Click on “New User? Register here”.
3. Enter your name, state of domicile, gender, mobile number, DOB, email ID, scholarship category, bank details like IFSC code, account number, etc.
4. Click on a register.
5. Now, you will get an OTP on your registered mobile number.
6. Enter OTP, Login your account and fill the remaining scholarship form.
7. After submitting the form, candidates must note down the generated application ID and password for further use.

Important Date
