Post Matric Scholarship for EBC students Gujarat 2020, Apply Online Application Form, Eligibility & Last Date

The department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India invites application for Post Matric Scholarship for EBC students, Gujarat. The scholarship is offered for the students who are studying in class 11th to Ph.D. This precisely for the students who are studying at post matriculation or post-secondary stage and belong to the economically backward class of the general category are eligible to apply. The selected students will get a fixed scholarship amount in the form of monthly allowance etc.

Eligibility Criteria for EBC Students Scholarship 

• Be an Indian National.
• Must be a permanent resident of Gujarat.
• Belong to EBC general category.
• Family income should not be more than 1 lakh P/A.
• Must have passed matriculation and studying in higher secondary and above.

Rewards of Post Matric Scholarship for EBC students

Scholarship benefits are divided into category wise as follows-Scholarship benefits are divided into category wise as follows-

• Maintenance allowance –  The hostellers would be awarded up to INR 750 and day scholars would receive up to INR 350 on a monthly basis.
• Reader charges for blind students – Upto INR 175/Month.
• Fees Payment – All compulsory fees payment such as enrolment, tuition, games, library, and union, magazine, Medical examination, etc.
• Study tour charges – Up to a maximum of INR 900/Annum.
• Thesis/ typing charges up to the maximum of INR 1000 per annum.
