Post Matric Scholarship for Minority Students, Gujarat 2020-21, Eligibility Criteria, Application Form & Last Date

Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India invites application for the students from class 11^th to Ph.D. students of minority category. Post Matric Scholarship for minority students, Gujarat encourages meritorious students of underprivileged sections of the minority communities to pursue their higher studies and successfully making their careers. The scheme is for all the domicile holder of Gujarat pursuing their higher studies.

Eligibility Criteria For Scholarship For Minority 

• Must be studying in class 11, 12, graduate, postgraduate, technical or vocational courses, M.Phil or Ph.D.
• Must be a domicile holder of Gujarat.
• Must have secured at least 50% marks or equivalent.
• Annual income should not be more than 2 lakh from all the sources.
• Must be from minority communities Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, Jain, and Zoroastrians.

Awards Of Post Matric Scholarship For Minority Students

• Admission and tuition fee for classes 11 and 12^th (hostellers and day scholar) INR 1,000 per annum.
• Admission and tuition fee for undergraduate and postgraduate (hostellers and day scholar) INR 3,000 Per annum.
• Maintenance allowance for 10 months in an academic year for courses other than technical and professional courses at UG and PG level- INR 300.
• Maintenance allowance for 10 months in an academic year for M.Phil. and Ph.D. (day scholars) - INR 550 per month.

How to Apply Scholarship For Minorities?

• Visit the official portal of digital Gujarat.
• Fill in the details and register.
• Log in with the username and password.
• Finally, fill the application form and submit it.

Required Documents to be attached

• Domicile Certificate.
• Student photograph.
• Self-declaration minority community certificate.
• Fee Receipt's current course year.
• Scanned copy of Adhaar card
• Income certificate issued by the state of Gujarat.
• Proof of bank account in the name of the student or joint account with father /mother.

Last date to apply

The student can apply for Post Matric Scholarship for Minorities till 24^th January 2020-21.
