Post Matric Scholarship For SC/ST Students Haryana 2020, Application, Reward And Last Date

The Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Department, Government of Haryana is offering Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST Students, Haryana 2020. Students who are pursuing post-matriculation or post-secondary studies i.e. after Class 10th education can apply for this scheme. Only Haryana domiciled students are eligible. The objective of this scheme is to financially help and encourage the SC/ST students to pursue higher education.

Post Matric Scholarship For SC/ST Students 2020 Eligibility 

Following are some of the eligibility conditions which students have to fulfill to apply for this scholarship

• Applicants must pursue post-matriculation or post-secondary studies.
• A candidate must belong to SC/ST category and must be Haryana domiciled.
• In order to apply for this scholarship, the family annual income of the applicant should be less than 2.5 lacs per annum.

Post Matric Scholarship For SC/ST Students 2020 Reward

Apart from providing the reimbursement for non-refundable tuition fees, the selected students will be given maintenance allowance, study tour charges, thesis typing/printing charges, book allowances for correspondence students, and reader charges for blind students. Depending upon the course, the amount of maintenance allowance ranges from INR 230/- to INR 1200/- per month. It will be different for hostellers and day scholars.

3. Click here to register online.
4. Enter all the details required in the registration form and click on “Save and Proceed”.
5. After verifying the OTP, students have to log in to their account using application ID and password.
6. Now, fill the rest of the application form & upload documents and finally click on the “save and Proceed” button.
7. Applicants must retain the printout of the confirmation page for future references.

Important Dates

The officials will soon open the application form of Post Matric Scholarship 2018 for SC / ST Students, Haryana. Students will be able to fill the form in the month of 15th Feb tentatively.

Selection Procedure

The eligible candidates will be given scholarship subject to the fulfillment of eligibility conditions. Also, the student’s financial background and academic performance will be taken into consideration to offer the scholarship.
