Post Matric Scholarship for SC Students Madhya Pradesh 2020, Application Form, Eligibility, Last Date

Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC students came into effect from April 2018. The scholarship started by the government of India especially emphasizing SC students who are from the underprivileged section. The main aim of the scheme is to provide /supplement financial assistance to the SC students studying at post matriculation or post-secondary stage. The scholarships enable the students to continue their studies in India only. The scholarship is awarded by the government of the State /Union Territory to which applicants belong. The domicile State/UT shall keep the parent state informed with all particulars.

Eligibility Criteria Of Scholarship For Scheduled Caste

• The scholarships are open for Indian Nationals of India.
• These scholarships will be given for the study of all recognized post.
• Applicants must be permanent residents of their state.
• Family annual income must not exceed more than 2 lakh P/A or 2, 50,000 P/A from all the sources. 

 Candidates must be studying in the following Institute:

1. Institutions of National Importance
2. Central University /state university /autonomous colleges recognised under section 2(f) and 12 (b) of UGC Act.
3. Deemed Universities.
4. Private universities recognized by state/central with A level or equivalent accreditation by NAAC /NBA.
5. Private Professional Institutions affiliated to a recognized central /state university and covered by the fee fixation committee mandated by the Supreme court.
6. Recognized school/colleges for class XI and class XII.

Rewards Of Post Matric Scholarship To SC

The scholarship holds many benefits under this scholarship like maintenance allowance, reimbursement of compulsory or non-refundable fees, study tour charges, thesis typing, book allowance, book bank facility, additional allowances for SC students with disabilities for the complete duration for the course. The scholarship for maintenance allowance is between INR 1200 to INR 230. Additional allowance for SC students with disability is INR 240 to INR 160, Thesis typing /Printing charges, and study tour charges are INR 1200.

How to Apply Scheduled Caste Scholarship Application Form

• Visit the National Scholarship Portal  and then click “ New Registration”
• Read the guidelines carefully and select your undertaking.
• Select the state of domicile course category, gender, scholarship, and fill all the mandatory details.
• Provide all your bank details and click the “Register” button.
• The mobile number will be verified and an OTP will be created.
• Login using that OTP and fill the form.
• The application password and ID will be generated.

Note- All applicants are advised to fill the form correctly as no changes will be made once the form is submitted.

•  Domicile Certificate
• Student’s Passport size photograph
• Self-attested copy of previous academic mark sheets.
• Income certificate attested by a revenue officer.
• Caste certificate.

Post Matric Scholarship For SC Student Last Date

Many scholarships are running for SC students. Each scholarship has a different deadline. Generally, the scholarship is announced in the month of May-June and lasts till December of a particular year.

Terms and Conditions

• Students must not be getting any other scholarships.
• Candidates belonging to one State but studying in other states will be getting a scholarship.
• Students domiciled in a state /UT but holding SC certificate in other states/UT can apply for a scholarship. Their certificate is a subject of verification from state /UT it was issued.
