Post Matric Scholarship for SC students, Assam is rewarded by The Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India. The prime focus has been given to the students of the Scheduled Caste category who are the domicile holder of Assam state. The scheme is for the students who are willing to pursue their higher studies form class 11^th and above. The main aim of the scholarship is to support the education of the candidates in order to achieve their dreams.

Eligibility Criteria For Scholarship To Scheduled Caste Students 2020

To apply for Post Matric Scholarship for SC Students, Assam you need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

• Must be studying in class 11^th or above pursuing recognized post-matric and post-secondary courses.
• Annual Income of the family must not be exceeding INR 2.5 lakh.
• Must be from the SC category.
• Must not getting any other scholarship
• Employed students on leave without pay can apply.
• Students pursuing PG in medicine can apply only if they are not allowed to practice during the course.
• Students who have taken coaching in any pre-examination training centers with financial assistance from the government are not allowed.

• Maintenance Allowance – Maximum of INR 1200 per month.
• Reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees.
• Study Charges up to INR 1600.
• Book Allowance up to INR 1200
• Book bank facility up to INR 7500
• Additional allowance for disabled students- INR 240 per month.

• Provide Bank details.
• The mobile number verified and an OTP will be generated.
• Login using OTP and fill other academic details.

Terms and Conditions

• Students having 75% in each academic year.
• The scholarship will be payable for 10 months.
• Domicile holder of Assam living in any other state can apply.
• The scholarship is for Indian nationals only.
• Funds provided under this scheme shall not be used for any other purpose.
• The Govt of India has a right to change its terms and conditions at any time.
