Post Matric Scholarship for SC students, Gujarat is offered by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Gujarat. The scheme is open for SC students who are studying at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The main aim of this scheme is to offer best opportunities for the empowerment of students belonging to backward classes of the society.

Eligibility Criteria For Scholarship For SC Students

One can apply for Post Matric Scholarship for SC students, Gujarat if one meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Be studying at UG level to post-graduation.
• Must belong to SC category.
• Must have an annual family income of less than 2,50,000 P/A.
• The applicant should not be the repeater of the same class.
• Must be a permanent resident of Gujarat.

How to Apply PMS Scheme For SC Students 

• Visit the official portal of digital Gujarat.
• Fill in the details and register.
• Login with the username and password.
• Finally, fill the application form and submit it.

• Self-attested caste certificate
• Self-attested Aadhaar Card
• First page of bank passbook/canceled cheque.
• Fee receipt of a current academic course.
• Certificate of previous academic year.

• Passport size photograph of the applicant.

Terms and Conditions

• The scholarship scheme is also applicable for the employees who have taken leaves without pay.
• Students studying the same level of education but in a different stream can apply.
• Students pursuing a post-graduate course in medicine are can apply for this scholarship.
