Post Matric Scholarship for SC Students Manipur 2020 is offered by Directorate for Welfare of Other Backward Classes and SCs, Government of Manipur. The main aim of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to the student who wants to pursue their higher studies. Through this scholarship, the students will get support in terms of smooth education that will build confidence to fulfill their professional dreams. 

Post Matric Scholarship For SC Students Eligibility 

• Applicants must belong to the Scheduled Caste category.
• One must pursue his /her studies at post-matric or post-secondary level I.e. from 11th to PG 
• Must have a family income of less than 2.5 Lac.
• Students pursuing a regular learning course or through distance learning are eligible to apply.

Rewards 0f Post Matric Scholarship For Scheduled Caste Students

The scholarship covers the following

• Maintenance Allowance for the hostellers up to INR 1200 p/m and INR 550 p/m for the day scholars. 
• Reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees.
• Study tour charges.
• Thesis typing and printing charges.
• Book allowance for the students pursuing studies through correspondence.
• Book bank facility for particular courses.
• Additional allowance for SC students with disabilities
