Post Matric Scholarship for ST students, Gujarat 2020 is offered by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Gujarat. The scheme is open for ST students who are studying at the graduate and postgraduate levels. The main aim of this scheme is to offer financial assistance to the students who cannot afford their higher studies.

Eligibility Criteria Post Matric Scheme for ST Students

One can apply for Post Matric Scholarship for ST students, Gujarat if one meets the following eligibility criteria:

• Be studying at UG level to post-graduation from a recognized university/college.
• Must belong to ST category.
• Must have an annual family income of less than 2,50,000 P/A.
• It should not be the repeater of the same class.
• Domicile holder of Gujarat.
• Students pursuing their studies from correspondence are also eligible to apply.

How to Apply Post Matric Scholarship for ST Students

• Visit the official portal of digital Gujarat.
• Fill in the details and register.
• Login with the username and password.
• Finally, fill the application form and submit it.

• Self-attested caste certificate.
• self-attested Aadhaar Card.
• The first page of the bank passbook/canceled cheque.
• Fee receipt of the current academic course.
• Certificate of the previous academic year.
• Hostel certificate • School leaving certificate.
• School/college current year bonafide certificate
• Passport size photograph of the applicant.
• Disability certificate

Terms and Conditions

• The scholarship scheme is also applicable for the employees who have taken leaves without pay for their whole course duration.
• Students studying the same level of education but in the different streams can apply.
• Students pursuing a post-graduate course in medicine are can apply for this scholarship.
