Post Matric Scholarship for ST Students 2020 is meant for the students belonging from the ST community and pursuing the studies of class 11th to doctoral level. Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Nagaland is providing this scholarship to the eligible and deserving candidates. The scholarship aims to financially support the economically weak students of the Scheduled Tribe category in pursuing higher education.

• The applicant must be the citizen of India and a permanent resident of Nagaland state.
• An applicant must belong to Scheduled Tribe (ST) community.
• The annual family income of the candidate must not exceed INR 2.5 lacs per annum.

Post-Matric Scholarship For ST Students Reward 2020

The scholarship amount awarded to the selected candidates varies as per the class of study. For the renewal or to continue the scholarship, students have to maintain the prescribed minimum percentage in the final examinations.

How To Apply For Post-Matric Scholarship Application Form

The following are the simple steps to apply for this scholarship scheme.

1. Go to the official website of the Nagaland government.
2. To fill up an application form Click here
3. Start your registration as a “new user”. Already registered candidates can login their account by using their user ID and password.
4. Thereafter, click on “Go to Online Services”.
5. Select the desired scholarship scheme from the Directorate of Higher Education menu.
6. Now, complete your rest of the form and submit it.
7. Finally, take the printout of filled-in form and submit it to the institution so that the institution can submit the Annexure-IV and entries to the DHE.

Documents Required For Post-Matric Scholarship 2020

• Xerox attested copy of school/college/university registration/affiliation certificate
• Xerox attested copies of the ST certificate and indigenous certificate.
• Xerox attested a copy of the admission receipt.
• Xerox attested copies of mark sheet, admit card from class 10th onwards.

Important Dates

The online application form of Post-Matric Scholarship for Scheduled Tribe Students, Nagaland 2018 has been started on 15th June. The last date to submit the online application form is 31st July.  Last Date for submission of Hard & soft copy of Annexure IV (Post Matric Scholarship) to the Directorate of Higher Education is 29th Sept

Selection Procedure

Students who meet all the eligibility requirements will be selected for the award of scholarship. The amount awarded to the students will depend upon the need and financial background of the students.
