Post Matric ST Scholarship, Tripura is offered under the Government of Tripura for the students who are willing to pursue their higher studies till PG or Ph.D. The objective of this scheme is to offer financial assistance to the students belonging to the ST category. Students can apply through the national Nationals scholarship portal. The scholarship carries many awards that will be given to the candidates who will be selected on the basis of eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria For Post Matric Scholarship For Scheduled Tribe

• The scholarship is open for the Indian Nationals.
• These scholarships will be given to study all the well-known post-secondary courses that are offered in many recognized university.
• It is to be noted that scholarship will not be awarded for the courses like Aircraft maintenance engineer’s courses and private pilot license courses, courses at Training –Ship Dufferin (Now Rajendra) courses of training at the military college, Dehradun and courses at pre-examination training centers of all India and State levels.
• The scholarship will be given to only those candidates who are from the ST category and have passed matriculation or higher secondary or any higher examination of a recognized university or board of secondary education.
• Family income should be 2 lakh P/A from all the income.

Reward Of Post Maric Scheme For ST Students

The scholarship includes provision for students with disabilities, reimbursement of compulsory nonrefundable fees, maintenance allowance, study tour, thesis typing, printing, etc.

How to Apply For Post Matric Scholarship For ST Students Tripura?

• Apply through the national scholarship portal.
• Select your state schemes and click on Tripura on the menu.
• Select the state scheme and click on “Post Matric ST Scholarship”
• Login and register yourself if you are a new user.
• Fill all the mandatory details and get your user ID.
• Application complete in all respects shall be submitted to the Head of Institution/school.

Documents Required

• Application for a scholarship.
• One copy of passport size photograph with signatures of the student.
• A certificate (in original) of schedule tribe duly attested by an authorized revenue officer.
• Category certificate.
• Income certificate
• Receipt in acknowledgment of the scholarship on the previous year.
