Post-Matric Scholarship to ST Students Jammu and Kashmir 2020 Eligibility, Last Date, Application Form

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of Jammu and Kashmir invites all the application for Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for ST students 2020. The scheme's purpose is to limit the number of dropouts at school level encouraging children to pursue their studies. The scholarship is applicable for students from class 11th till PG level.

Post-Matric Scholarship to ST Students Jammu and Kashmir Eligibility Criteria

• Be a citizen Jammu and Kashmir.
• Must belong to ST category.
• Must be the students of class 11/12/Graduation/post-graduation.
• The income of the family should not exceed more than 2 lakh P/A.

Rewards Of The Scholarship

The selected students will get a reward i.e. maintenance allowance. This allowance will be distributed today scholar and hosteller.

• Degree and PG level courses including M.Phil, Ph.D., Post Doctoral research in medicine, Engineering, Technology, planning, Architecture, Design, Fashion Technology, Agriculture, Veterinary and allied sciences, Management, Business, Finance, administration, computer science/application. It also includes commercial pilot license, PG Diploma course in various branches like Management and medicine and CA/IC/WA/CS/ICFA and LLM. Their reward is INR 1200 for hosteller and INR 550 for day scholar.
• Graduate, post-graduate e-course (degree, diploma ) in B.Pharm, B.Nursing, LLB, BFS, another paramedical branch, Mass Com, Hotel management and catering, Travel/tourism, hospitality, etc. The reward is INR 820 (Hosteller) and INR 530 (Day scholar).
• All the courses which are not covered above BA/B.SC.B.Com etc. The reward is INR 570 and INR 300.
• Class 11,12, general and vocational stream, ITI courses, 3 years diploma courses in Polytechnic. The reward is INR 380(hosteller) and INR 230 (day scholar).
• Additional allowance to ST students with disabilities is INR 240.
• Study charges up to INR 1600 P/M
• Annual Allowance INR 1200 for the students of correspondence or distance learning course.

How to Apply in Post Matric Scholarship to ST Students Jammu and Kashmir?

• Click To “Apply Now” button.
• Visit the National Scholarship website and click ‘ New registration’.
• Read the guidelines carefully and select the undertaking and click on ‘ continue button’
• Then in the third step select the state of domicile, scholarship category, scheme type, gender, write the applicant’s name, date of birth, mobile number and email ID.
• Offer Bank Details
• Select Aadhaar or Bank account number
• No. will be verified and an OTP will be generated.
• An application ID and password will be generated.
• Login with OTP and fill the form.
• An application ID and password will be generated.

Documents Required:

• Passport size photograph.
• The entire mark sheet details to date.
• Caste certificate
• Income certificate
