Post SSC Scholarship for Boys Gujarat 2020, Eligibility Criteria, Application Form & Last Date

Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Gujarat is offering Post SSC Scholarship for Boys (SEBC), Gujarat 2020. The scholarship is being offered to the boy's students belonging to the SEBC category. Students who are pursuing education at senior secondary level i.e. from class 11th to Ph.D.level can apply for this scholarship scheme. The government is running this scholarship scheme with the aim of economic welfare for the students belonging from backward classes.

Eligibility Criteria For Post SSC Scholarship for Boys (SEBC) 2020

• Before applying for a scholarship, all the aspirants must check their eligibility from this section of our article.
• This scholarship is available only for boys belonging to SEBC category.
• Applicants must be the bonafide candidates of Gujarat state.
• Students from class 11th to Ph.D. level will be eligible for this scholarship.    

Post SSC Scholarship for Boys (SEBC) 2020 Reward

The government has fixed a particular scholarship amount for various groups. The amount of scholarship awarded to the selected students is as follows

Group A students (BSc, Medical, and Engineering courses) – Students residing in hostels will get INR 280 per month while day scholars will get INR 125 per month.
Group B Students (i.e. Diploma courses such as Engineering, technical, science, and postgraduate courses) – For this group students, the scholarship amount decided is INR 190 per month (for hostellers) and INR 125 per month(for day scholars).
Group C Students (Medicine, Technical skill, Commerce, Arts, Postgraduate courses) – The scholarship amount is the same as group B students.
Group D Students (class 11th to graduation courses) - The scholarship amount decided is INR 175 per month (for hostellers) and INR 90 per month (for day scholars).
Group E Students (i.e. class 11th and 12th students) -Hostellers will get INR 115 per month while day scholars will be awarded INR 65 per month.

How To Apply For Post SSC Scholarship For Boys (SEBC) 2020

Students wishing to apply for the scholarship can go through following steps

• Aspirants can apply via online mode.
• To apply for the scholarship, students may click here
• Firstly, candidates have to register as a new user.
• Aadhar card is mandatorily required to apply for the scholarship.
• Fill all the required details to complete the registration process.
• After the completion of registration, students have to login using email ID and password.
• Complete your application process and finally submit the application form.
• Only one application per applicant will be accepted for the scholarship.
• An application form will be considered complete only when all the segments of the application form are properly completed.
• At last, applicants must retain the printout of the confirmation page for further references.

Following Are The Documents Which Students Have To Submit In Order To Apply For SEBC Scholarship 2020

• School/college current year bonafide certificate
• Income certificate
• Self-attested certificate of academic mark sheet of the previous year
• School leaving certificate
• The first page of bank passbook/canceled cheque
• Hostel certificate (for hosteller students)
• Self-attested copy of Aadhar card
• Self-attested caste certificate 
• Fee receipt of current course year

Important Dates

Post SSC Scholarship for Boys (SEBC), Gujarat 2019 online application form is now available. The last date for form submission is 15th August 2020. Students are suggested to submit their filled-in forms before due dates.

Selection Procedure

Based on marks secured in the previous examination, the government will provide scholarships to the deserving students.
