Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Gujarat invites the applications for Post SSC Scholarship for Girls (SEBC), Gujarat 2019. This scholarship is meant only for girls candidates belonging from the SEBC category. Students studying at senior secondary level i.e. students from class 11th to Ph.D. courses can apply for this scholarship scheme. The objective of this scholarship is to financially support the backward classes in pursuing higher education.

Eligibility Criteria for Post SSC Scholarship for Girls (SEBC)

Here, we are mentioning some basic eligibility conditions to apply for Post SSC Scholarship for Girls (SEBC), Gujarat:

• An applicant must be a citizen of India and belong to the Gujarat state.
• Only girls belonging from the SEBC category are applicable to apply.
• This scholarship is open for students of class 11 to Ph.D. level.

Post SSC Scholarship for Girls (SEBC) Reward 2020

The state government of Gujarat has decided to different scholarship amounts for different groups. The scholarship reward varies for hostellers and day scholars. The details regarding the rewards of scholarship are as follows:

Group A students (BSc, Medical and Engineering courses) – Hostellers will get INR 280 per month while day scholars will get INR 125 per month.
Group B Students (i.e. Diploma courses such as Engineering, technical, science and postgraduate courses) – Candidates belonging to this group will be awarded INR 190 per month (for hostellers) and INR 125 per month (for day scholars).
Group C Students (Medicine, Technical skill, Commerce, Arts, Postgraduate courses) – For this group students, the scholarship amount is the same as group B students.
Group D Students (graduation and post-graduation courses) - Hostellers will get INR 175 per month while day scholars will get INR 90 per month.
Group E Students (i.e. class 11th and 12th students) –This group student will get INR 115 per month (hostellers) while day scholars will receive the scholarship of INR 65 per month.

How To Apply For Post SSC Scholarship for Girls (SEBC) Application Form

Students may go through these simple steps to apply for this scholarship

• Students can fill the application form through online mode only.
• Aspirants can submit the form by accessing the official website. 
• In the first step, students have to register themselves.
• To register, click on the “New Registration” button.
• Fill all the details correctly in the registration form.
• Now, log in using a registered email Id and password to continue the application process.
• Upload all the required documents and submit the form.
• After filling and submitting all the details correctly, take the printout of the confirmation page for further references.
• Candidates must fill and submit the application form before the last date.

• School leaving certificate
• The first page of bank passbook/canceled cheque
• School/college current year bonafide certificate
• Income certificate
• Self-attested certificate of academic mark sheet of the previous year
• Self-attested copy of Aadhar card
• Self-attested caste certificate 
• Hostel certificate (for hosteller students)
• Fee receipt of current course year

Selection Procedure

The selection of students for the scholarship will be done on the basis of fund availability. Also, a student's academic performance in the previous examination will be taken into consideration.
