It is granted by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Gujarat. This scholarship is offered to boys candidates belonging to the NTDNT category. Students from class 11th to Ph.D. level can take part in this scholarship scheme. The benefit of this scholarship will be provided to Gujarat state candidates only. The aim of the scholarship is to financially support the backward classes of society and encourage them for pursuing higher studies.

Eligibility Criteria For Post SSC Scholarships for Boys (NTDNT) 2020

• The applicant must belong to the NTDNT category.
• Only boys can apply for this scholarship.
• Students from class 11 to Ph.D. courses will be eligible to apply.
• The annual family income of candidates belonging from urban areas must be less than INR 1, 50,000/- and for rural areas candidates, the family income should not exceed INR 1, 20,000/.

Post SSC Scholarships For Boys (NTDNT), Gujarat Reward

Here, students can get details about the scholarship amount for various groups:

Group A students (BSc, Medical and Engineering courses) – Hosteller students will get INR 280 per month while day scholars will get INR 125 per month.
Group B Students (i.e. Diploma courses such as Engineering, technical, science and postgraduate courses) – For hostellers, the scholarship amount is INR 190 per month and for day scholars, it is INR 125 per month.
Group C Students (Medicine, Technical skill, Commerce, Arts, Postgraduate courses) – The scholarship amount is the same as group B students.
Group D Students (Graduation and Post-graduation courses) - Hostellers will get INR 175 per month while day scholars will be awarded INR 90 per month.
Group E Students (i.e. class 11th and 12th students) - The scholarship amount for hostellers is INR 115 per month and for day scholars, it is INR 65 per month.

Important Dates

Applications for Post SSC Scholarships for Boys (NTDNT), Gujarat 2020 have been started. Students who are eligible and interested in the scholarship can submit the filled-in application form till 31st  August 2019. After this date, no application will be accepted.

Students will be selected for award of scholarship on the basis of their performance and academic record in the previous examination.
