Pre Matric Scholarship for OBC students, Assam is offered by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India. This offers many benefits to the students of class 1 to 10^th. The scholarship is especially for the Assam domicile holders belonging to the OBC category. The main aim of the scholarship is to offer financial assistance and raise the standards of the economically weak sections of our society through education.

Eligibility Criteria To Scholarship For OBC Students Assam

To apply for this scholarship you need to meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Must be a regular full-time student of class 1^st to 10^th.
• Must have an annual income not exceeding INR 2.5 lakh P/A.
• Belong to the OBC category.
• Not be getting any centrally funded scholarship.
• Having a minimum attendance of 60%.

Rewards Of Post Matric Scholarship For Assam OBC Students

The selected candidates of Pre Matric Scholarship to OBC students will get benefits like:

• Hostellers from class 3^rd to 10^th will get a reward of INR 500 per month for 10 months.
• Day scholar of class 1 to 10^th will get 100 per month for 10 months.
• Ad Hoc grant of INR 500.

How to Apply Online for Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme To OBC Students?

To apply for Pre Matric Scholarship for OBC students, Assam you need to follow the mentioned steps:

• Click on “New Registrations”
• Select the state and scholarship and fill all the details.
• Mention the bank details.
• Your mobile number will be verified and OTP will be generated.
• Login using OTP and fill the complete form.
• Use your application ID for future references.

Note– All the students are advised to fill the correct information as no changes will be made once you get registered.
