Pre Matric Scholarship to SC students is a small initiative taken by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment running in various states of India. In this article, we have mentioned the Pre Matric Scholarship for SC students, Gujarat. The main aim of this scholarship is to support SC students for their wards studying in class IX and X. This way rates of dropout are minimized and students are getting a better chance of progressing Post Matric stage of education.

Eligibility Criteria For Scholarship for Scheduled Cast Students

• Students belonging to Schedule caste.
• His /her parents/guardian’s Income should not exceed more than INR 2.5 lakh P/A.
• She/he must not be getting any other scholarship.
• One must be a regular, full-time student studying in Government School or in a school recognized by a govt. or a central /state board of secondary education.

The selected students of Pre Matric Scholarship for SC Students, Gujarat will be given the following rewards:

• Scholarship for 10 months – Day scholar- 225, Hostellers -525
• Books and ad Hoc grant - Day scholars- 750, hostellers – 1000

How To Apply for Online Scholarship Form

Students who find themselves eligible for Pre Matric Scholarship for SC Students, Gujarat must register through Digital Gujarat Portal. Follow the mentioned steps to apply.

Registration Process

• The first step is to register yourself through the official Digital Gujarat Portal
• The existing users can log in with their existing password and E.mail ID.
• Meanwhile, new users can enroll through a click on “New registration”.
• New users can log in with various credentials such as email ID, phone number, or Aadhaar number.
• New users are required to provide relevant information and save it.
• Once all the information is saved, an OTP will be sent to provide a mobile number.
• Enter OTP to complete registration.

Profile Update

To update your profile, applicants need to fill in all the information on the “Profile Update page”. They also required uploading the most recent passport-sized photographs.

Scholarship Application

• Once the profile has been updated, candidates should log in to their account and enter the dashboard.
• Select the scholarship they want to apply for.
• Before those candidates are asked to select their application language.
• Instructions will be given and candidates are required to read them carefully.
• Next, click on “Continue Service”.
• Fill in the mandatory information.
• Scan and upload the supporting documents stated in the portal.
• Once done, submit your application.
