Pre-Matric Scholarship For SC Students (State/Central Sector) 2020 Uttarakhand| Eligibility, Last Date & Application Form

Social Welfare Department, Government of Uttarakhand is providing Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC Students 2020 (state/center sector), Uttarakhand. Students of class 1st to class 10th are eligible to apply for this scholarship. This scholarship scheme is available for the candidates belonging from the SC category and residing in Uttarakhand. The objective of this scholarship is to financially support the SC students to complete their school education.

Eligibility Pre-Matric Scholarship For Scheduled Caste Students 2020 

Before applying, aspirants must ensure their eligibility from here:

• An applicant must be the resident of Uttarakhand state and a student of class 1st to class 10th.
• An aspirant should belong to Scheduled Caste (SC) category.
• It is necessary for aspiring students to pass the previous examination with minimum qualifying marks.
• Students of class 9th to class 10th must have the annual family income less than 2 lacs. No annual income criteria exist for class 1st to class 8th students.

Pre-Matric Scholarship For SC Students (State/Central Sector) Rewards

Students will receive a scholarship amount based on their class of study. The details of which are as follows:

• Students of class 1st to class 5th will get INR 600/- per annum.

• The scholarship amount of INR 720/- per annum will be given to the students of class 6th to class 8th.
• Class 9th and class 10th students will get a scholarship amount of INR 1500/- per annum and those who are residing in hostels will receive INR 3500/- per annum.

How To Apply For Pre-Matric Scholarship For SC Students (State/Central Sector) 2020

The steps which students need to follow to apply for this scheme are:

1. Students can apply online through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
2. Click Here to apply.
3. Fresh candidates have to click on “New User? Register here”.
4. Now, select the scholarship name, scheme type, state of domicile and fill details like name, gender, category, DOB, email ID, mobile number, residential address, etc.
5. After clicking on register, you will get an OTP in your registered mobile number.
6. Verify your mobile number through OTP.
7. Fill the rest of the scholarship form and submit it.
8. One candidate can submit only one application form as multiple applications will lead to rejection.

• Aadhar card/Aadhar Enrolment
• Bank Details (account number and IFSC code)
• Income certificate

Important Date

Aspirants can now apply for the Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC Students (State/Center Sector), Uttarakhand. Application forms will be accepted till 25th Feb 2020.

Selection Procedure

Students who will fulfill all the eligibility requirements will be selected for the award of scholarship. The amount awarded to the students will depend upon the need and financial background of the students.
