Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme for Minorities 2019-20 Last Date, Application Form
Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme for minority students is the prime minister’s new 15th Point Programme for the Welfare of minority students. Pre- Matric scholarship means started in June 2006 with an aim to benefit the deserving students who are willing to pursue their studies. The scholarship aims to offer financial assistance to the students who are belonging to the underprivileged section. This way there will be no burden on parents and students will able to complete their education.
Pre Matric Scholarship 2019-20 has laid a foundation to encourage the education system of India and s parents to send their children to study. The scheme is focusing on the empowerment of deserving students through education. The scholarship will be awarded to minority students of India who are studying from class 1 to class X in government, private institutes including residential Government institutes and eligible private institutes that are selected and notified in a transparent manner. Pre Matric Scholarship Eligibility
If you want to apply for Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme for minority students then you should meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the previous final exam.
- An annual income of parents /guardians should not more than 1lakh P/A.
- The scholarship will be offered to the students belonging to minority communities like Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Zoroastrians (Parsis), Christians, Muslims.

Hostellers include students who are staying in hostel of the school/institutes of private /government concern or those provided by the state government /union territory administration concerned.
How to Apply in Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme For Minorities 2019-20
If you think you are eligible for Pre Matric Scholarship means then apply for this scholarship through the below mention steps.
- Applicants of Pre Matric Scholarship for minorities need to apply through the national scholarship portal.
- One needs to register as a new user by providing all mandatory details.
- Students need to mention domicile details, name, date of birth, mobile number, gender, email ID and then select “Pre Matric Scholarship 2019-20”.
- Completing this step will generate an OTP that will be used to verify the mobile number.
- Use the OTP received on the registered mobile to log in on NSP and fill the form.
- This will generate an application ID and password that can be used for future references.
Documents Required in Pre-Matric Scholarship

- Self-attested copy of the previous academic mark sheet.
- Copy of Aadhaar Enrollment /Aadhaar Card.
- Income certificate issued by designated state/UT authority.
- Proof of Bank account in the name of students or joint account with mother /father.
Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme Application Form

Pre Matric Scholarship last date
Students must apply for Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme before the last date. Pre Matric Scholarship's last date is 15th November 2019.
Monitoring & Transparency
The state/union territory shall maintain year wise details of the students receiving scholarship, indicating school/institute , location of school/institute , government or private class, gender, new or renewal , permanent address, and parent’s address. The states /Union Territories shall place relevant physical and financial details in their official website.
Evaluation Process
The monitoring of the financial and physical performance of the scheme will be offered by assigning evaluation /impact studies to the popular institutions/agencies by Minority Affairs, Government of India.
