Social Welfare Department, Government of Uttarakhand is offering the Pre-Matric Disability Scholarship (State Sector), Uttarakhand. Students of Uttarakhand state suffering from disability and studying in Class 1st to Class 10th are eligible to apply for a pre-matric scholarship. The aim behind offering this scheme is to provide financial assistance to disabled students pursuing school education.

Eligibility For Pre-Matric Disability Scholarship (State Sector), Uttarakhand 

Following are the eligibility conditions to apply for Pre-Matric Disability Scholarship (State Sector) Uttarakhand:

• An applicant must be the permanent resident of Uttarakhand state.
• Only physically disabled students are eligible to apply for this scheme.
• This scholarship is open for the students of Class 1st to Class 10th studying in the affiliated schools situated within or outside the state.
• Candidates should have passed the previous examination with at least qualifying marks.
• The annual income of the applicant parent’s/guardian must not exceed INR 24,000/-.

Pre-Matric Disability Scholarship (State Sector) 2020, Uttarakhand Rewards:

• Students of Class 1st to Class 5th will receive a scholarship amount of INR 600/- per annum.
• Class 6th to Class 8th studentswill receive an amount of INR 960/- per annum.
• Class 9th to Class 10th students will be awarded an amount of INR 1700/- per annum.

Students have to follow these steps to apply for Pre-Matric Disability Scholarship (State Sector) Uttarakhand:

1. Click here to apply online.
2. Click on “New User? Register here”.
3. Enter your name, state of domicile, gender, mobile number, DOB, email ID, scholarship category, bank details, etc.
4. After clicking on register, you will get an OTP in your registered mobile number.
5. Enter OTP and fill the scholarship form.
6. Applicants must fill all the details carefully and correctly.
7. After submitting the form, don’t forget to note down your user ID/application ID and password for further correspondence.

• Previous academic year mark sheet

Important Date

Application form of Pre-Matric Disability Scholarship (State Sector) Uttarakhand has been released. Students must submit the form on or before 25th Feb 2020.
